Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Okum.
1. Who we are
Okum ("Okum", "we", "us") is a software service operated by Ashim Doley, a sole proprietor based in Assam, India. You can reach us at ashimdoley3@gmail.com.
By creating an account or using Okum, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What Okum does
Okum is an operations layer for people who run n8n automation workflows on behalf of clients. The service lets you:
- Deploy workflows to a connected n8n instance
- Guide clients through connecting the credentials those workflows need
- Monitor workflow executions and classify failures by likely cause
- Give your clients a simple status view of their automations
- Manage your subscription and plan limits
Okum is not a replacement for n8n and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by n8n GmbH. You are responsible for your own n8n instance, its availability, and its configuration.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Okum.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Tell us promptly at the contact address above if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Your clients and their data
When you add a client to Okum, you may enter information about them, and they may connect their own accounts and services through workflows you deploy. You confirm that:
- You have the necessary permission from your clients to store their details in Okum and to operate automations on their behalf.
- You are responsible for what your deployed workflows do with your clients' data.
- You will handle any personal data of your clients in line with the laws that apply to you.
In relation to your clients' data, you act as the controller and Okum acts as a processor on your instructions.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Okum to:
- Break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's rights
- Send spam, run phishing campaigns, or distribute malware
- Access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorised to access
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service
- Resell or white-label the service without our written agreement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
6. Plans, billing and changes
- Okum offers a free plan with limited usage and paid subscription plans billed monthly in advance.
- Prices are shown on our pricing page. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, who may act as merchant of record for the transaction. Your payment card details are handled by that provider and are never stored by Okum.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- If we change prices, we will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email before the change applies to them.
Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy below.
7. Third-party services
Okum works alongside services you or your clients control or choose, including n8n, Google, and other API providers. We are not responsible for those services' availability, changes, outages, or policies. If a third party changes or withdraws access, some Okum features may stop working through no fault of ours.
8. Intellectual property
Okum, its software, design, and branding remain our property. You keep ownership of your own content — your workflows, your client records, and your data. You grant us only the limited licence needed to operate the service for you.
9. Service availability and accuracy
We work hard to keep Okum running and useful, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
Important, and we would rather be blunt about it: Okum's failure classification is a best-effort signal, not a guarantee. It can miss a failure, or attribute one to the wrong cause. Where Okum cannot classify a failure confidently, it says so rather than guessing. Do not rely on Okum as your only safeguard for anything critical.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Okum is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — including losses arising from a failure Okum did not detect or classified incorrectly.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
You can stop using Okum and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a refund of any prepaid, unused period.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service develops. If a change is material, we will notify account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Okum after that means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Assam, India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.
Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
1. Summary
We collect the minimum needed to run Okum. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use your workflows or your clients' data to train models.
2. What we collect
Account information — your name, email address, and login details when you sign up.
Client records you enter — the client names, email addresses, and notes you add to Okum so you can manage them.
Connection details — your n8n server URL and API key, and API keys you choose to store in the vault. These are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and are decrypted only at the moment they are needed to perform an action you asked for.
Execution metadata — for each workflow run: its status, timestamps, identifiers, and error information used to classify the failure. We store error messages returned by your workflows so we can tell you what went wrong.
Billing information — your plan, subscription status, and billing identifiers. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
Basic technical data — log data such as request times and error traces, used to keep the service working and secure.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service: deploy workflows, monitor runs, classify failures, and show client status
- To send you service email, including failure alerts, account email, and important notices
- To manage subscriptions and billing
- To debug problems, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure
- To meet legal obligations
We rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, and, where required, your consent.
4. Who processes data for us
We use a small number of trusted providers, each handling data only to deliver their part of the service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and backend functions
- Google Firebase Hosting — serving the web application
- Resend — sending transactional and alert email
- Our payment provider — checkout, subscriptions, and tax handling
Your n8n instance is under your control, not ours. Where required, transfers outside your country are covered by appropriate safeguards.
5. What we never do
- We never sell or rent your data.
- We never use your data, your workflows, or your clients' data to train AI models.
- We never share your data with advertisers.
- We never take custody of your clients' OAuth logins — clients authorise those directly inside n8n.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and client records while your account is active. Execution history is retained for a rolling period so health and failure history stay useful. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. Email ashimdoley3@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
Sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Access to the database is protected by row-level security so one account cannot read another's data. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we will tell you promptly.
9. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Children
Okum is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
12. Contact
Data controller: Ashim Doley, Assam, India — ashimdoley3@gmail.com
Refund Policy
Short version: 14 days, no questions asked.
14-day refund
If you are not happy with Okum, email us within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
How to request one
Email ashimdoley3@gmail.com from the address on your account with the word "refund" in the subject. We aim to reply within 2 business days and to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
After 14 days
Payments older than 14 days are not automatically refundable. You can cancel any time and you will not be charged again — your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate partial months.
That said, if something went genuinely wrong on our side — an outage, a billing mistake, a charge you did not expect — write to us anyway. We would rather sort it out than keep money we did not earn.
Free plan
The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. You can try Okum on it for as long as you like before paying.
Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription from your billing settings, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not automatically trigger a refund of the current period unless you are within the 14-day window.
